About the AAF Silver Medal Award
The American Advertising Federation's Silver Medal Award was established in 1959 to recognize those who have made outstanding contributions to advertising, have been active in furthering the industry's standards and creative excellence, and have supported local community interests.

Since 2004, AAF Greater Flint (formerly FAAF) has bestowed this honor upon outstanding members of the local advertising community. The AAF Silver Medal recipient is selected by a panel of past presidents, and the presentation is made during the ADDY® Awards Ceremony.
